When I noticed the title of this Economist’s Twitter I thought about the many hidden costs that people normally do not expect.
Eventually I sow the article and it actually looked a straight forward comparison of different countries: never mind!
What I had imagined was something about the actual cost of doing something.
When I refer to cost I actually mean not only money but also time, effort, experience, management etc…
I think that the refurbishment of a property is a good example, especially if it is abroad.
People often work out numbers, costs, builders, products, fitting etc. and produce time scale plans that most of the times are unlikely to happen (and in fact very often do not).
Some time I heard people talk about costs per square meter, 1,ooo/1,500 etc.
In actual fact there is a huge additional amount of time and work to complete a home, especially if you want it to become your home in Italy.
The Realitalia Design Options (and the Realitalia Furniture Packages service) allow our clients to customize their Italian homes without the aggravation of having to deal with builders, orders, deliveries, damages, fitting etc.
I think it is one of those things you do not appreciate until you try….. like a Mac for example: it works!
Your comments will be extremely welcome.
Very best regards,
