Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday!
It was a great opportunity to stay together, to taste some genuine products – affettati (pancetta, lardo, vitella affumicata), salami (salame cotto, salamini, salame stagionato) and salsiccia – of the Limone valley, and to talk about this characteristic Italian ski village at only 75 minutes from the Cote d’Azur.
We drank Mulled Wine, hot Bombardino and VOV, an Italian traditional liqueur made of eggs and white marsala, very popular a few years ago, which required a bit of search now!
Actually there were some outsiders who had champagne ….. nobody is perfect!
It is likely that next time will be in Limone itself, maybe.
